Easter Clothes

EDIT: Thanks for the suggestions about the basket. I have seen those baskets in person at PBK and for his first or second Easter, I think it will be sufficient. I plan to only use it a year or two then get one of the big ones with the monogrammed liner. Plus, I'm sure the Easter Bunny will also make a stop at my parents house for him, so I do not plan on doing that much for a year or two.

I have some serious spring fever, so last week I went to Motherhood last week in search of a cute spring dress to wear for Easter and at least one of my showers that I needed a dress for. I ended up with two and I am going to have the hardest time EVER deciding between them! I LOVE them both! I'm thinking the fun pink and black one for Easter and a shower and the purple one for at least one of my showers.

On that note, I also daydreamed about what I want Nicholas to wear next year. We have an agreement, the first year I can dress him a little more babyish, like Strausburg jon jons and monogrammed things. After that he will be wearing more older little boy clothes like khaki pants and sweaters. So, I thought this would be cute next year.
And of course, a basket from Pottery Barn Kids! I LOVE the bunny, but the duck is pretty cute too!

I love both of the dresses. The little Jon Jon is just too cute. Can't wait to see pictures of Easter next year when you have a little one in your arms!

Don't get that basket from Pottery Barn. It's very very tiny inside. I got my older two from Lillian Vernon and for my third I fell in love with these from PBK thinking that they would be similar. No way, I just had to get her the basket one from PBK because nothing fits in the Easter basket and I love to fill them!

There are lots of varieties out there but you might want to reconsider this specific one.

I love your dresses.

I love those dresses and I LOVE jon jons on little boys! I just ordered Lauren's easter basket from PBK but I got the actual basket and then a liner with her name monogrammed!

I agree with Cuddles and Chaos above. I fell in love with those baskets in the catalog. Luckily I live in an area with a Pottery Barn Kids store. In person, they are small and look cheap. You can find something cuter at Target.

Both dresses are very pretty. I like the purple on the best (but that could be because I am not a big pink fan). Regardless, I think both would look amazing on you.

The little boy outfit is really cute as are the ptk easter baskets. I might have to look into those for my nieces this easter

Hi Amanda-
I have been reading your blog for almost a year now but have never commented before. Recently I have decided to let go of my insecurties and to push myself out of my comfort zones. I decided my first step would be leaving blog comments.

I really enjoy reading your blog and am so excited for you and your husband. My little girl just turned 2 yesterday and I think I may be getting a little bit of baby fever again!

I love the little jon jon. I think your little Nicholas will look just precious wearing it. If you don't already know about it, you may want to look at http://www.orientexpressed.com/
- they have really cute smocked things there as well.

take care-
