21 Days of Thankfulness: Day 8

Today I am thankful for my Nana.  She was always there for me and taught me so much.  It has been almost 10 years since we found out she has dementia and she is now living in an assisted living and she has become a very different person.  I spent countless hours with her growing up.  She taught me so much, but the importance of voting, how to be a great mom, and how to cook are the things that stick out the most.  I am thankful that Nicholas knows her and gets excited when we go to visit with her.  I will always be thankful for her and all that she means to me.  I wish that everyone could have a Nana like I have, I was truly one of the luckiest kids in the world to have her!
