Michael's family all came out and it was a great day! After they left we stayed out until about 6:30 then headed back to the marina for dinner and drinks where we ran into two of Michael's best friends. It was a great day and we even got a little sun!!!!
Today Michael had to work :-( but my mom, aunt, cousin, and I took my Nana to Cracker Barrel for lunch for her 79th Birthday (which is actually tomorrow). Unfortunately, I forgot my camera. :-(
Back to work tomorrow, booo! It will be a busy couple of days, then I get a little break to get caught up on paperwork and prepare for next week. I am also looking into buying a CHI flat iron. Any suggestions where to get one CHEAP and is it REALLY worth the big money?

YES! So worth the money! I made the mistake of getting a perm several years ago & my hair has never been right since....the chi was the best gift I ever received! We've gone through several in the past decade considering my sister, mom & I all use them & I think my mom found them cheaper (in the 70s) on amazon.com....they're usually over 100 in a salon!
I love my chi, totally worth the money. I would search them on-line. I have several friends that have gotten them cheaper there. Most salons sell them for around $100-130. But they last forever, and if you save you box when it breaks you send it back to the company in the right box with matching numbers and they fix it for like $10.
I got the generic Chi from Sally Beauty Supply. I have never once been disappointed! Just make sure that you use flat iron spray with a flat iron. It really protects your hair and gives it a smooth look. Walmart just started carrying the Chi kind and I really love it.
I've always had to have a flat iron because my hair is so thick and wavy. I had a Chi for years and loved it! I cried when I dropped it and one of the plates fell off. I got a Croc to replace it - and I actually like it better. I bought it on Amazon. The are around the same price.
Amanda,
I have been using a Chi since high school. I recently just dropped mine in the bathtub (long story) but anyway, I had it for 11 years before I had to replace it. It is a life saver and I go no where without it. ( I even have a backup at work) I bought my replacement at Sams Club ($75). Also, on trips, you can use it as a clothes iron- I did that last year on our cruise and it worked fabulously. You can't go wrong when it is a multi tasking instrument :) Chea
I have a CHI and I love it. Try Ebay, seriously!
I have a CHI and love it, but recently BaByliss came out with a new one. It is the Nano Titanium and it is by far soooo much better than my CHI. And if I'm not wrong if you search the web you can still get a free Hair Dryer with it.
